Bunny Ring Toss
Hi, friends! Happy Wednesday! Easter is already this weekend, wow. What are your Easter plans? My family and I always go to church and then eat some yummy food, which usually includes ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, and probably too many desserts 😉 .
Today I’m sharing how you can incorporate a bunny ring toss in your classroom. Did you ever play ring toss as a child? Maybe at a fair or field day in elementary school? Are the memories slowly coming back to you? Ring toss games are so much fun and can help inflate learning in your classroom.
6 ways to use the bunny ring toss:
1. Have students identify the ring colors and the bunny ear colors.
2. Students can toss the pink rings on the pink bunny, blue rings on the blue bunny, etc. Practice sorting by color.
3. Have students count the number of rings and the number of bunnies.
4. Ask students how many ears they have. Then, students can identify the number of ears a bunny has. What do we use our ears for?
5. During circle time, students can share if they’ve ever seen a bunny before. What do bunnies look like? What sounds do they make? Then they can toss the ring to a classmate.
6. Write or tape a number on the rings. Students can practice identifying the number and then tossing the ring onto the bunny.
I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday and a Happy Easter! I’ll see you back here next week 🙂 .
